I love to dance! I've never taken dance lessons because it's out of my spending range, but it has always been on my bucket list. Even though I can't afford it yet, I still love to learn different dances. I feel like you can learn a lot about a culture by how they dance and I love to learn about people different from myself.
I have compiled a list of different dances, lessons on how to learn that dance for free, and a playlist to dance to. I would recommend focusing on one specific dance per date and "mastering" it if you can. If you split it up as I recommended, you can have 19 different dance lesson dates completely for free.
The first step is to pick your dance. Second, watch and follow all the tutorials listed to get a basic knowledge of the. dance. You can watch as many or as few as you need. Then try it out for yourself by dancing to music with the song playlists. Just have fun with each other and allow yourself to make mistakes.
American Tango
Waltz
Foxtrot
Rumba
Salsa
Huapango
Swing
Viennese Waltz
Quickstep
Samba
Cha Cha
Paso Doble
Tuto
Jive
Mambo
Argentine Tango
Polka
Merengue
Bolero
Bachata
If you guys really want to get into it, you could dress up in the traditional styles of that dance, but doing this date in your pajamas is just as acceptable. Since you are doing it in the comfort of your own home, nobody is going to judge you.
Again, as I always say, make sure to include food somehow into your date. You could make a dinner or dessert based around the culture of the dance you have chosen. You could have a fancy candle-lit dinner if you dance is more formal. You could head out to a dinner if you are going for more of the swing dances. Just be creative.
This took a while to find everything, so I hope you enjoy it.
I hope you have a wonderful day and an even better date!
