Blanket Fort And Games Date Night

This is one of those classic date ideas that you will see posted on Instagram or TikTok. And for good reason: this date is super easy to set up but can be so fun and romantic.

Just a "heads up": this date will require you and your date to share a blanket fort together for the entirety of the date. If you are not at that stage in your relationship yet, you may want to skip this date for now.

What you will need:

Blankets, chairs, pillows, etc for a blanket fort

or

A tent if that is more your style

Board or card games

Video games

Now the idea of this date is to set up a little fort inside the house for just the two of you. You can build the fort ahead of time or make it part of the date. Once you are finished with the basic structure, pile pillows and blankets inside the fort to make it cozy.

Once you both are snug in your fort you have options:

1. You can play whatever board games you have on hand.

2. You can play whatever card games you have on hand.

3. You can play whatever video games you have on hand.

I personally prefer one of the first two options because it is easier to play them within the blanket fort, but do whatever works best for you.

Make sure to not forget the snacks! I would suggest not going for anything sticky or that could drip because there is not much worse to me than sticky blankets.
