Summerween Date Idea

This is for all my Halloween lovers! This idea comes from a children's TV show that my siblings love that has been adapted into a fin party idea. In the show, the people of the town love Halloween so much that they like to cellebrate it twice a year. So, every year on June 22 or the second to last Friday of the month, they have Summerween.

This date idea is to through your own Summerween party/picnic. I love Halloween, but I also love summer, so this is literally my dream combination. This can be a great date for just the two of you, or you can turn it into one big group party. Literally anything will work.

Activities:

• Wearing Costumes (or just dressing up in orange summer clothes)

• Carving Jack-o-melons (watermelons) or Pineapples

• Roast Pumpkin S'mores

  • Regular s'mores, but using the pumpkin marshmallows found here.

• Watch a Halloween Movie

• Make Summerween Bracelets

  • A basic summer friendship bracelet, but more Halloween. You can even make this a tradition and wear them/make them every year.

Food:

• Candy Corn Popsicles

  • Recipe

• Jack-o-lantern Cheeseburgers

  • Just regular cheeseburgers but with scary faces cut into the cheese

• Orange (Pumpkin) Punch

  • Recipe

• Spooky Pizzas

  • Just a regular pizza, but with ghost, jack-o-lantern, or eyeball shaped toppings

• Watermelon (Blood) Punch

  • Recipe
